Maison Coco is a Franco-German team based in Nara, specializing in supporting people who want to buy, renovate and live in a traditional Japanese house.

 

We connect owners of old houses and buyers with projects (families, creatives, entrepreneurs) thanks to a 100% personalized human and cultural approach.

Our role is to ensure the smooth running of the process: property search, translation, administrative procedures, putting you in touch with local craftsmen and monitoring renovations (...)

 

At the same time, we document the memory of these houses and their inhabitants through photography, reporting, and publishing. Thus, each project becomes not only a real estate acquisition, but also a contribution to the preservation of Japan's rural heritage.
